How to play Card Recall

1. All the cards show face up for a few seconds. Remember as many as you can.
2. Then they turn over. Tap two cards to flip them.
3. A matching pair stays face up. Two that don’t match turn back over, and that’s a miss.
4. Find all the pairs to clear it. On difficulty 5 there are sixteen cards (eight pairs), a three-second look, and the fourth miss ends the run.
5. You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: more pairs (5 on difficulty 1, 10 on difficulty 10), a shorter look, and the third miss ends it from difficulty 8. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.

Tips

• Don’t try to remember everything. Pick a few pairs and lock them in.
• A miss isn’t wasted: you now know where two more cards are.
• The cards stay in the same places all day, so every attempt teaches you a little more of the layout. A new one comes at midnight UTC; “Practice a new layout” deals a fresh one any time, off the leaderboard.
