How to play Chop Toss
- Shapes are tossed up from the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe in a straight line across a shape, starting and ending outside it, to cut it in two.
- On difficulty 5 there are twelve shapes, and the smaller half has to be at least 35% of the shape. A more lopsided cut ends the run.
- Letting a shape fall back down uncut also ends the run.
- You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: more shapes, tossed a little closer together, and fairer cuts needed. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.
Tips
- For squares, circles and hexagons, any line through the middle is a fair cut. On long shapes, cut across the short way: it’s far more forgiving.
- Triangles are the hardest. Cut through their centre, about a third of the way up from a side.
- One swipe can cut two shapes if they line up, which helps when two are in the air at once.
- Everyone gets the same tosses all day, and new ones at midnight UTC. “Practice a new layout” deals fresh tosses any time, off the leaderboard.
