How to play Gap Shot
- A balloon sits inside rings that spin around it, each with one gap. Tap to shoot an arrow straight up at it.
- The arrow has to pass through every ring’s gap on its way. It meets the outer ring first and the inner ones a moment later.
- Hit a ring and the arrow sticks in it. You get one arrow per balloon plus a spare or two; once you have fewer arrows left than balloons to pop, the run ends.
- Pop the balloon to bring the next one: one ring at first, then two turning against each other, then three. Pop six to clear it on difficulty 5.
- You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: more balloons, faster rings, narrower gaps and fewer spare arrows. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.
Tips
- Watch the gaps line up below the balloon. Shoot just before they get there: the arrow takes a moment to fly.
- The inner rings are reached last, so lead them a little more.
- Some rings speed up and slow down. Wait for a slow swing before you shoot.
- Everyone gets the same rings all day, and new ones at midnight UTC. “Practice a new layout” deals fresh rings any time, off the leaderboard.
