How to play Honey Drop
- A bear walks back and forth under the hive, holding his honey pot up over his head.
- Tap a stick, or the knob at its end, to pull it out. Whatever it was holding falls.
- Honey has to land in the pot. Bees have to miss it: drop the bees while the bear is away, and the honey as he comes under the spout.
- Order matters. Bees under the honey have to go first, a stick between honey and bees mixes them, and some sticks are best left alone.
- On difficulty 5 there are four hives. Each needs 78% of its honey in the pot, and a single bee in the pot ends the run. 60 seconds for all of them.
- You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: up to five hives, a faster bear with a smaller pot and more of the honey needed. Difficulties 1–4 let a bee or two into the pot. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.
Tips
- Honey takes about half a second to fall from the spout to the pot, so pull just before the bear arrives, not when he is already underneath.
- The bear stops for a moment at each end of his walk. Drop the bees while he is resting at the far end.
- Honey stuck behind a stick can wait. Pull the sticks that clear the way first, then take your time with the honey.
- Everyone gets the same hives all day, and new ones at midnight UTC: the order changes, some are mirrored, and the bear starts somewhere else. “Practice a new layout” deals fresh ones any time, off the leaderboard.
