How to play Round the Dot
- Press and draw one loop around the white dot, then let go.
- The loop has to go all the way round and end near where it started.
- Itâs scored on roundness: how evenly far every point is from the middle. Each circle needs more. On difficulty 5 there are five: 74%, 77%, 80%, 82%, then 84%.
- From the second circle on, red dots sit nearby and must end up outside your loop, so size matters too.
- A loop that misses the dot, is too small, lets a red dot in or isnât round enough ends the run.
- You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: more circles (3 on difficulty 1), rounder ones (64% to 70% on difficulty 1, 77% to 87% on difficulty 10) and red dots closer in. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.
Tips
- Draw at a steady speed. Slowing down on one side is what flattens most circles.
- Medium-sized circles are the easiest to keep round. Tiny ones wobble.
- Move from your elbow or shoulder rather than your wrist.
- Everyone gets the same dots all day, and new ones at midnight UTC. âPractice a new layoutâ deals fresh ones any time, off the leaderboard.
