How to play Tangle Free
- Drag any dot to move it. The lines stay attached.
- Lines that cross another line are red.
- Let go with no red lines left to solve the puzzle.
- On difficulty 5 the graph has 10 dots and 19 lines. You start on difficulty 3 of 10; clear a difficulty to unlock the next, with more dots and lines (up to 15 dots). Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.
Tips
- Itâs always solvable: the puzzle is a scrambled flat layout.
- Pull a few dots outward first to make room, then fix one red cluster at a time.
- Dots with lots of lines usually belong in the middle.
- Everyone gets the same tangle all day, and a new one at midnight UTC. âPractice a new layoutâ deals a fresh tangle any time, off the leaderboard.
