How to play Shape Slot

1. A wall slides down towards your shape. It has a hole cut in it in the same shape, at an angle.
2. Drag left or right anywhere on the screen to turn your shape: right turns it clockwise. Beside the shape you can also drag up and down, like turning a dial.
3. When the light under your shape turns green it’s lined up closely enough to fit.
4. If the wall arrives and the shape doesn’t match the hole, the run ends.
5. A different shape and angle each time, and each wall arrives faster. On difficulty 5 there are eight walls.
6. You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: more walls, arriving sooner, and the shape has to match the hole more closely. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.

Tips

• Some shapes look the same turned halfway round. Turn whichever way is shorter.
• Small drags make fine turns. Big swipes overshoot.
• Look at the hole as soon as the wall appears, not when it’s about to arrive.
• Everyone gets the same walls all day, and new ones at midnight UTC. “Practice a new layout” deals fresh walls any time, off the leaderboard.
