How to play Spot Swap
- Compare the top picture with the bottom one.
- Tap a difference in either picture. Found differences are circled in both.
- Each wrong tap adds three seconds to your time. On difficulty 5 there are six differences and the third wrong tap ends the run.
- You start on difficulty 3 of 10. Clear a difficulty to unlock the next: more differences, subtler size and position changes, and fewer wrong taps allowed. Pick any unlocked difficulty with the arrows on the start card.
Tips
- On difficulty 5 there is exactly one of each kind: missing, colour, size, position, rotation and shape. Higher difficulties go round the kinds again.
- Compare the pictures section by section, not shape by shape.
- Missing shapes are the easiest to overlook. Look for gaps.
- Everyone gets the same pictures all day, and new ones at midnight UTC. “Practice a new layout” deals fresh pictures any time, off the leaderboard.
